DrogonTV runs on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad through player apps from the App Store. Apple does not allow side-loading, so the choice of player is narrower than on Android, but the good ones are excellent. This guide covers Apple TV HD and 4K (tvOS), iPhone and iPad (iOS / iPadOS), and Mac.

App Store availability changes from country to country. If one player is missing in your region, use another — your DrogonTV line works with all of them.
Apple TV: step by step
- Open the App Store on the Apple TV.
- Search for IPTV Smarters (or GSE Smart IPTV / iPlayTV) and select Get.
- Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API (GSE: Xtream Codes API → +).
- Enter a playlist name, then the username, password and server URL from your DrogonTV activation message.
- Select Add user. Live channels, films and series load within a minute.
Tip: typing long URLs with the Siri Remote is slow. Use the Apple TV Remote in your iPhone’s Control Centre — it brings up the iPhone keyboard, and you can paste the details straight from WhatsApp.
iPhone and iPad: step by step
- Open the App Store, search for IPTV Smarters or GSE Smart IPTV, and install it.
- Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Copy each detail from your WhatsApp activation message and paste it into the matching field.
- Tap Add user. You can now watch, use picture-in-picture, or AirPlay to a TV.
Mac
On Apple silicon Macs, many iPad players install straight from the Mac App Store. Alternatively, VLC plays the M3U link from your activation message: File → Open Network, paste the link, and the full channel list appears as a playlist.
Getting the best out of Apple devices
- Apple TV 4K over Ethernet is the most stable Apple setup for live sport.
- Match frame rate: on Apple TV, Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content, turn on Match Frame Rate for smoother football and racing.
- AirPlay is fine for films, but for live sport install the player on the Apple TV itself to avoid the extra delay.
- Low Data Mode on iPhone can lower picture quality — switch it off on Wi-Fi.
